This model is recommended for a motor that is not the main ventilation motor in the home. The reason for this is because the basic ventilation should run constantly and never be completely turned off, which is what the zero function on this switch does. If the switch is to be used for this purpose, MTP20 should be installed.

This switch is therefore recommended for use with an external motor that is installed additionally next to the ventilation that is already present in the home.

The MTP controller is suitable for use in challenging environments such as bathrooms, kitchens and swimming pools.

IP 54 protection is achieved with the supplied surface mounting box. Flush mounting without a surface mounting box provides IP 44 protection.
